Sir Tafa hoodie is part of the CoolAfricanMerch Last Monarch capsule inspired by the story of Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was the first Prime Minister of Nigeria before and after Nigerian independence from Britain in 1960.
Amongst many of his achievements as a leader, He led his government in a vocal protest of the massacre in South Africa during the apartheid regime and attempted to persuade other Commonwealth nations to expel South Africa because of its inhumane policies. Balewa also was one of the African leaders who encouraged the formation of the OAU (Organization of African Union).
